CHUV Magazine

In each issue, CHUV Magazine tackles the organizational, political and scientific challenges facing the medical industry and also discusses issues directly related to the Vaud University Hospital Center (CHUV) in Lausanne.

While reporting the opinions of medical researchers and doctors on featured topics, the magazine also opens discussion to contributors outside the medical field. In each issue, for example, a scientist, author or philosopher is invited to share his or her views on the evolving role of hospitals in our society.

The magazine also touches on the practical, giving an insider’s view of hospital life and profiling some of the many people—in addition to doctors—who keep the hospital running smoothly. Patients, too, are an important part of the hospital as well as the magazine: in each issue a patient tells the story of their CHUV experience.

CHUV Magazine is distributed to the hospital's staff of 8,000 employees.
